The Advent Euphonic Chorale, champions in the 12th International Choral Festival Orientale Concentus, Singapore for the chamber and folklore categories, was established in the year 2011. Formerly known as the Harmonic Voices, the group is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist church and uses music in its mission to spread the Gospel.

AEC's ministry extends to different parts of the Philippines as well as abroad. Countries where the group has conducted international concert tours include Indonesia, 泰国, Taiwan and Singapore. The group participates in both religious and philanthropic events, which often include sacred and gala concerts, hospital and school visitations, and acting as program participants in the church. 

目前, AEC comprises students and young professionals alike. 到目前为止, the group has already released three albums, entitled "The Reason We Sing,”“音乐, 来自上帝的礼物," and “How Sweet the Sound.通过它的歌声, the Advent Euphonic Chorale endeavors to reach more people and be a vessel of God's love, 希望与和平.

 

About the musical director:

雷·安吉洛R.A.“Capiendo finished his Masters of Music in choral conducting at St. Paul University Manila, with an academic award of 以优等成绩毕业者 under Eudenice Palaruan and Professor Oliver Rodriguez. He has been a member and a president of the AUP Ambassadors for almost 10 years under the leadership of Professor Ramon Lijauco Jr. He was with the concert group that won the 2011 Choir of the World title in Wales, United Kingdom and the 2006 World Choir Games in Xiamen, 中国. 

His voice mentors include Arnie Lou Salazar-Baker and Mary Anne Lanuzo. Extending to more than singing and directing the chorus, his musical facets include playing the clarinet, having had formal lessons with Dalmacio H. 克鲁兹. He graduated from the Adventist University of the Philippines in the year 2010 with a bachelor's degree in nursing and passed the Nursing Licensure Exam in the same year.

 

关于钢琴家:

Canes June "Sugar" Tortal-Martinez took her Bachelor of Music in music education, piano concentration at the Adventist University of the Philippines. Her piano mentors include Rodney Abriol, 快乐Pumaras, 伊芙琳Salibio, Erlinda Corral and the late Evelyn Ronquillo. 目前, she is teaching piano at Luisiana Adventist Elementary School and is also an accompanist for voice students in AUP. She is also the pianist for the AUP Canticlaires, The Young Voices (Voces Iuvenis) and the 2011 Choir of the World AUP Ambassadors (now The Philippine Meistersingers).
